Muffler rule at Quincy Raceways for 2010
All classes at Quincy Raceways must run mufflers.
The Hobby Stock muffler rule is written in the Hobby Stock rules.
IMCA Late Models, IMCA Stock Cars and UMP Modifieds must run at a
minimum something like the Schoenfeld Insert Muffler, Part # 42530
or # 43035. Do not cut them in half and use half of one in each
header. It must be a full muffler on each side.
Anyone caught doing this or not using mufflers will be D.Q. |

UMP Modified Rules
- Safety rule for weekly racing:
(These rules supersede the safety rules in the UMP Modified Rules) –
Fire retardant gloves, shoes and neck brace (Head and Neck
Restraint) – are required. SFI approved full fire suit
required. Drivers side window net required, minimum 16” X 20” ribbon
or mesh style only. Must be mounted so latch is at top front of
window. The only exception to this rule is if we have a new car,
they will have one race appearance or race night to have proper
equipment in car or on driver.
- Tires. We will allow the only
the A or H compound tires on the car. We will allow the D
compound tire on the left front only, If we find a D Compound
tire on any other wheel location, you will be dq’d.
