Reed, DeLonjay, Brocksieck, Dunker, Hoener and Bercerra take Quincy Checkers

QUINCY, IL (July 8, 2012) - Justin Reed, Steven DeLonjay, Aaron Brocksieck, Tony Dunker, Brian Hoener and Austen Becerra all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceways on Sunday July 8 during Sullivan Auctioneers Night at the Races.

 Reed made a clean sweep of the UMP Super Late Model division as he won his heat, the dash and the thirty lap main event. Reed held off every move that Dewayne Kiefer through at him in lapped traffic to claim his third feature win of the season and to add to his slim points lead over Jason Perry. Kiefer settled for the second spot followed by Dustin Griffin in third, Michael Long in fourth and Brian Diveley in fifth.

Kiefer took the second heat win.

 Steven DeLonjay held of a determined Michael Long to claim his third feature win of the season followed by Dave Wietholder in third, Shawn Deering in fourth and Jared Schlipman in fifth. Long and Wietholder were the heat race winners.

 Aaron Brocksieck made good use of his two week vacation from racing to come from the back of the pack to claim the feature event win in the IMCA Stock Car division. Gabe Harrison took the second spot followed by Michael Larsen, Terry Houston and Jerry Jansen. Houston and Larsen were the heat race winners.

 Tony Dunker scored his seventh feature win of the season in the Summy Tire and Auto Center IMCA Northern SportMods followed by Tanner Klingele in second, Brad Holtmeyer in third, Bobby Anders in fourth and Joe Bliven in fifth. Bliven and Dunker were the heat race winners.

 Brian Hoener took control of the very competitive Quincy Hobby Stock feature event at the drop of the green flag and held off both Tanner Klingele and Brandon Symmonds to take his fourth main event win of the season. Symmonds settled for the second spot with Klingele in third, Jeff DeLonjay in fourth and Jake Powers in fifth. Klingele and Powers were the heat race winners.

 Austen Becerra took his third feature win in a row in the IMCA Sport Compact main event after holding back Seith Woodruff in second, Brandon Lambert in third, Kim Abbott in fourth and Chuck Fullenkamp in fifth. Thomas Angelo and Fullenkamp were the heat race winners.

 Coming up next at Quincy Raceways on Sunday July 15 is Heetco Propane Night at the Races. Pit Gates open at 3:30, Grandstands at 5:00, Drivers Registration ends at 5:30, Driver’s Meeting at 5:30, Hot Laps at 5:45 and Racing at 6:30pm.
