Quincy Raceways Releases Preliminary Special Events Schedule

 QUINCY, ILL (December 15) - Quincy Raceways announced today that several special events have been put on the 2011 race schedule. The events will have some very familiar faces and one that returns after a several year hiatus.

 The Stars of the USMTS Modified Series will return to Quincy for the first time since July of 2004 on Sunday May 15. The main event will pay $2000 to win and be part of a three night swing including Fairbury American Legion Speedway on Saturday May 14 and yet to be named event on Friday May 13.These events will require all competitors to use the three legal UMP Modified tires.

 The ever popular Ideal Ready Mix Sprint Invaders will take on the newly revamped “Broadway Bullring” on Memorial Sunday, May 29 and Labor Day Sunday, September 4. The 2011 Sprint Invaders season is expected to draw some very large field for some very competitive racing.

 The IMCA Deery Brother Summer Series returns to Quincy Raceways for two dates in 2011 with the first of those on Sunday April 10 and for the Titan Wheel and Tire Late Model Shootout on Sunday July 3. The Deery Brothers Late Models will be racing for a top prize of $2000 at both events at Quincy Raceways in 2011.

 More events are being added to the developing Quincy Raceways 2011 schedule with updates on any new events to be released as details are finalized.
